Our strategy is to partner with local food banks, Christian-owned restaurants, and farms to provide meals at designated partner church locations. Food pantries are also made available at select locations. Each meal distribution will include a time of prayer and offer opportunities for spiritual conversations. (Matthew 14:19-20: "Then he broke the loaves and gave them to the disciples, and the disciples gave them to the crowds. And they all ate and were satisfied").
This program is made possible by Collaborating with dietitians and other healthcare professionals to create meal plans for individuals with chronic conditions like diabetes and Crohn’s disease. In addition, we offer support with prayer and scriptural encouragement alongside meals (1 Corinthians 6:19: "Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God? You are not your own").
We are in the grassroot stages of organizing and operating mobile mental health clinics offering therapy, addiction recovery, and biblical counseling. The key to success is partnering with Christian counselors and pastors to provide both professional and spiritual care, pointing clients to Christ as the ultimate healer (Jeremiah 17:14: "Heal me, O Lord, and I shall be healed; save me, and I shall be saved, for you are my praise").
We work hard to partner with local landlords and hotels to provide emergency shelter. We also engage Christian contractors and developers to create affordable housing. Alongside rent subsidies and case management, we offer Bible studies and spiritual counseling to residents, pointing them to Jesus as the foundation of their healing (Psalm 127:1: "Unless the Lord builds the house, those who build it labor in vain").
We are seeking to engage Christian leaders and churches in advocating for zoning reforms and policies that increase affordable housing. A part of this work is to organize prayer gatherings and community forums centered on God’s heart for justice and mercy (Micah 6:8: "He has told you, O man, what is good; and what does the Lord require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God?").
Understanding that employment is essential to breaking the cycle of homelessness we provide job readiness training that includes a focus on finding one’s God-given purpose and calling. Partner with Christian business owners for job placements and mentorship (Colossians 3:23: "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men").
As an alternative to our Pathways to Purpose & Employment program we offer entrepreneurship training and micro-grants assistance to homeless individuals looking to start businesses. This Includes Christian business professional mentorship to help guide their ventures according to biblical principles (Proverbs 16:3: "Commit your work to the Lord, and your plans will be established").
Being homeless puts youth at even greater risk for delinquency. We strive to provide shelter, education, and spiritual guidance to homeless youth, offering them the opportunity to build their identity and future on Christ’s foundation. Partnering with schools, foster care agencies, and local churches we identify at-risk youth and bring them into a safe, supportive environment. Youth participate in Bible study groups, receive mentorship, and are taught life skills rooted in biblical principles (Jeremiah 29:11: "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope").
Complimenting the Next Generation for Christ Program, this program offers youth leadership development, financial literacy, and resilience training grounded in biblical teachings. It provides one-on-one mentorship with Christian leaders who will guide participants in making faith-based decisions for their future (Proverbs 22:6: "Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it"). Encourage participants to seek God’s wisdom in their education, relationships, and career aspirations.
